Attached is a copy of the narrative of our charter school proposal that was submitted to Ball State University.   Information on all charter schools and their proposals are public information.  You can request that information from your school, or from BSU.  There may be a fee associated with printing the document, because of the length of the document

The document attached does not have all the appendicies, as it would be over 400 pages.  But these items are available upon request.  The cost of the reproduction of the entire proposal has not been determined yet, but if you want a copy please use the contact us form on this website.

Also, beginnning in January, Indiana Schools of Excellence will be forming an exploratory committee comprised of community members, local businesses, board members, local university leaders, and parents to write a proposal for High School! This is an open letter to all the local businesses in the area.  Indiana Schools of Excellence, the founding board for Xavier School of Excellence (Xavier), believes that the opening of Xavier can help the South Bend Community.  We have several requests for proposals located in our downloads area.  We are looking for the following:

Indiana Schools of Excellence is offering pre-school for the community.  The program is an all day program.  The curriculum that was selected is High Scope.  The name of the preschool is Bright Beginnings Academy of Excellence.

An Ideal Choice for Pre-K Programs
As a comprehensive, research-based system — one that includes child instruction, staff development, and accountability assessment — High/Scope meets the needs of states and school districts seeking a proven Pre-Kindergarten model.  High/Scope is compatible with state standards for program implementation and early childhood learning as well as with Head Start Performance Standards and Child Outcomes.
